The English Springer Spaniel is certainly a "unique" dog, what it lacks in common sense is certainly made up in its undying affection not just for its owner but for everyone it come into contact with (window cleaners exempt). It easy to see why the Springer is the dog of choice for professionals with its ability to sniff, seek and find the slightest morsel of edible matter (and some inedible), to walk miles and then be happy to do it all over again, and display a unique range of facial expressions only deepening the bond with this such rewarding breed. We who love and care for this special breed appreciate their enthusiasm for life, their courage and resilience. The way they make you laugh ..or cry ..and how they respond to your feelings, but mostly we recognize we have a friend (or friends) for life and we feel privileged to own and be owned by a Springer Spaniel.
