NOT KNOWN (OLDER GIRL)
FEMALE - NEEDS SPAYING
Poor little Ruby came to us from the stray kennels and had obviously not been cared for where she had come from and has likely been a puppy machine. Her coat was very matted, covered in poo and she has urine stains, the stray kennels clipped off her coat which revealed a number of lumps and bumps. She also has a suspected uriniary infection and a bit of a cough for which she is receiving treatment. Being a stray we have no history for her, no idea of what she has been through etc. She has however been very good with all the dogs and people she has met so far.
Ruby is a very sweet girl who is going to need a very special home, once her cough has cleared up she is going to need a scan to help determine her ongoing treatment. At this stage the likely outcome is that she will need spaying and a full mammory strip to remove all the tumors as well as a couple of other lumps removing and she is going to need a home that will nurse her through all this (kennels is no place for major surgery if it can be avoided), we will cover the costs involved. Hopefully she will have years to enjoy being in a loving home , however there is no guarentee that these tumors are not malignant or have spread to other areas and whoever gives her a home will need to be aware that this is a possiblity.
